The Phoobsering Organic Garden is one of the best and oldest gardens in Darjeeling. This spring tea impresses with its sweet, mild, floral flavor—its aroma reminiscent of lily of the valley—and its breathtaking length. Phoobsering is another very special organic tea with that certain something.

Did you actually know how flight tea got its name?
As early as the 1960s, the idea arose to supply tea lovers with fresh and particularly aromatic teas as soon as possible after the winter break. The flight tea was particularly popular and was intended to reach consumers directly. Since the young buds are particularly sensitive, they should be spared a lengthy and quality-reducing journey. That's why the first harvest was transported by plane rather than by ship, which is how it got its name.
Darjeeling tea is offered in different qualities. The following names are sorted from highest quality to poorer quality, see also tea glossary:
SFTGFOP1 (Special Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1st, highest grade)
FTGFOP1 (Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1.)
TGFOP (Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe)
FOP (Flowery Orange Pekoe)
OP (Orange Pekoe)
P (Pekoe)
