It's that easy: Heat a bottle of red wine (or white wine) with 70g of sugar and add a bag of the mulled wine spice mix. Let the mixture steep for about 5 minutes over a low heat without bringing it to the boil. This allows the intense aromas of cinnamon, orange peel, lemon peel, cloves, apple, cardamom and star anise to develop optimally. The result is a full-bodied, spicy mulled wine that warms body and soul.
