These are the secrets behind the Sirs’ colours:
The story of Sir Patrick’s pastel blue
One turquoise-blue morning by the sea, Sir Patrick was enjoying a light blue macaron in the glacier-blue room of his castle whilst listening to Roy Orbison’s ‘Blue Bayou’. Just then, the old market trader came by and called out: ‘Aquamarine gems! Radiant blue aquamarine! Straight from the grotto!” Sir Patrick took another sip of Blue Curaçao, raised his glass to the blue-footed boobies cackling in the painting opposite his dining table, and said to himself: “I think I should get myself a pastel blue coat – the colour seems to be all the rage at the moment!”
