Clotted Cream (Devon Cream Company)
Discover the authentic taste of England!
Clotted cream is a traditional British cream product – a particularly creamy, thick cream with a minimum fat content of 55%, made from high-quality cow's milk. During its preparation, fresh cream is gently heated until small lumps of cream (called "clots") form – hence the name clotted cream. Its consistency is reminiscent of mascarpone or cream cheese, and its taste is incomparably mild, creamy, and buttery.
Original English Clotted Cream from Devon
Our clotted cream comes from the renowned Devon Cream Company, located in the southern English county of Devon – the birthplace of the famous cream tea.
As early as the 19th century, the classic afternoon snack of scones, clotted cream, and strawberry jam was served there. This British tradition continues to this day – and with this original clotted cream, you can easily enjoy it at home.
