About the "Coronation Afternoon Tea" Blend
A festive, loose-leaf blend created to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.
Our afternoon blend is darker and richer than classic versions and is particularly well-suited to being prepared with milk—truly "fit for a king."
Darjeeling is considered the "champagne of teas" due to its complexity and muscatel character. In the foothills of the Himalayas—often covered in snow in winter—the tea bushes grow slowly, which intensifies the aroma.
Contents: 80 g, loose in a tin
Infusion time: 3–5 minutes at 100°C
Serving suggestion: Enjoy with or without milk
Serving instructions
Scones: Preheat oven to 190°C, warm scones for 10–12 minutes. Serve warm – classic with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
Tea: Always use fresh, boiling water and preheat the teapot. 1 teaspoon of tea per cup (plus 1 teaspoon for the pot).

Serving scones:
1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
2. Warm scones for 10–12 minutes.
3. Carefully remove the clotted cream from the cup with a heated spoon (do not stir!) and place it in a bowl.
4. Halve the scones, spread generously with clotted cream, and finish with strawberry jam.
Making tea:
* Always use freshly boiled water.
* Preheat the teapot.
* Add 1 teaspoon of tea per cup (plus 1 teaspoon for the pot).
